The hotel is a Beaux Arts landmark, which means even the Standard Rooms have chandeliers in them. It also provides a 24-hour on-call butler service and room service. What makes their butlers special is that they go will go out of their way just to assist a guest. Though outdated, these butlers can still help in modern tasks such as setting your iPod to play through the room’s surround system.
The rooms at St. Regis give meaning to modern old-world glamor, with their gray and white striped fabric walls, beautiful Art Deco moldings and gold-accented furniture and Greek Key pattern carpets. They also have spacious bathrooms that have a his-and-her sink, Italian marbles, and a rainfall shower. Completing the room’s features is a high-definition flat-screen TV that starts at 32-inches, Wi-Fi, and Bose sound systems.

The hotel also doesn’t have a pool or a view of Central Park. But other than that, everything else checks for the St. Regis.
